Corporate Social Responsibility

In line with its pioneering culture, Petoil prioritises the implementation of a creative, innovative and collaborative environment. Our views on a better working environment extend beyond our own business environment and encourages us to strive to create better living conditions in the regions where we operate.

 As part of the Pet Holding Group of Companies, we are always conscious of our social responsibilities and contribute to the regions where we operate, particularly in the areas of education, health, culture, arts and the environment.

 Some of the activities we undertake within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility

include:

• 2023 – Food aid provided to 134 families in Sulaymaniyah; a village nurse’s salary paid; water continued to be transported to a village without water; monthly fees for a service bus to be used for transportation education continued to be paid.
• 2022 – Food aid provided to 107 families in Sulaymaniyah; waterways cleaned; new waterways opened; monthly fees for a service bus used for transportation to school paid; tree planting continued; water transported to a village without water. Operating costs for the water project funded.
• 2021- Food aid provided to 109 families in Süleymaniye, school clothing aid provided to 60 students; tree planting and maintenance continued uninterrupted. The project that began to be financed in 2017 completed; water supply to 5 villages initiated in its first phase.
• 2020 – Thousands of planted trees maintained.
• 2019 – Tree planting and maintenance continued; vocational training for the local community continued.
• 2018 – School assistance provided to orphans in Sulaymaniyah; Ramadan assistance provided to 110 families; tree planting and maintenance continued; vocational training provided to local community.
• 2017 – A project to bring water to a large area in Sulaymaniyah via a pipeline started to be financed; thousands of trees planted and all trees planted in previous years maintained; food aid provided to 150 families; supplies provided to a local school; funding provided to a sports center.
• 2016 – Electricity brought to two villages in Sulaymaniyah; hundreds of trees planted.
• 2011 – Sponsorship of Zeynep Tanbay’s ‘Modern Dance Show’.
• 2010 – Sponsored Pınar Köksal’s ‘Love Symphony’
• 2007 – Financial assistance provided to victims of a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 500
• 2007 – Stationery, clothing and fuel aid provided to a school in the Erbil
• 2006 – Clothing assistance provided to students at a school near
• 2006 – Renovated a primary school in rural
• 2006 – Stationery and educational supplies donated to four primary schools in rural
• 2005 – Through the Ministry of Education, clothing assistance was provided to 100 primary school students in Sulaymaniyah.
• 2004 – Clothing assistance provided to the Kemal Salim Sports Club Football, Basketball,

Volleyball and Table Tennis teams.

• 2003 – Furnished a room at Cemi Rezan State
• 2003 – Through the Ministry of Education, clothing assistance was provided to 100 primary school students in Süleymaniye.
