Petoil, whose main field of activity is oil exploration and production, has been operating since 1990, acquiring oil fields in Turkey, the United States, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Northern Iraq and Yemen. Established in 1989, Petkontur holds the distinction of being the first Turkish company that operated in Siberia, having undertaken the construction of the 500-bed Novokuznetsk General Surgical Hospital on a turnkey basis.
